Release notes

Every Titano release, newest first. The App Store only ever shows the current version's notes, so this is the whole history.

1.3.0 · October 7, 2026

  • Check a screenshot: shopping online? Screenshot the ingredient list in your grocery app and tap From photo.
  • Saved products now sit at the top of History. Name them when you save, and find them in one place.
  • Three tabs instead of four: settings are at the bottom of the You tab, Restore purchase included.
  • The reasons ("casein → milk") now come first on every result, above the label photo.
  • Titano never calls a food "safe": the best result reads "Nothing flagged", and shows what it checked.
  • The Nutrition experiment is paused while it is tested on real packs.
  • The Pregnancy list is no longer offered to new profiles. If you set it up, it keeps working until you remove it.
  • French labels: egg written as "œuf" is now always caught. It could be missed before.
  • Fewer false alarms: cocoa, shea and peanut butter are no longer read as milk.
  • Spanish and French: about forty screens and messages that were still in English are now translated.

1.2.0 · August 19, 2026

  • Titano speaks Spanish and French, including the reasons under every flag.
  • Nutrition, as an experiment you switch on yourself: pick a goal and Titano reads the Nutrition Facts panel to say whether a product fits it.

1.1.0 · August 2026

  • The Pregnancy profile: one tap sets up the things people usually avoid while pregnant, and every finding says why.
  • Labelled tabs replace the unlabelled corner buttons: Scan, Saved, History, You.
  • Saved: keep the products you've already checked.
  • Fewer false alarms: "decaf", "non-alcoholic" and "wine vinegar" no longer trip the scanner.

1.0 · July 30, 2026

  • The first release: point your camera at an ingredient label and Titano checks it against your allergies and diet, on your phone. English, French and Spanish labels. Scanning is free.
