Titano is built to collect nothing. Everything happens on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Titano does not have an account system and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected" — because that is true.
Your labels and profile
When you scan a label, the image is processed on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition. Images are not uploaded and are not stored by us. Your avoidance profile (the allergens and diets you choose) and your scan history are stored only on your device, in the app's local storage. Deleting the app removes them.
No tracking, no third parties
Titano contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. Nothing is networked except Apple's StoreKit, which Apple handles directly for the one-time purchase — we never see your payment details.
That is about the app. This website is separate and does measure page views — seeThis website below. When you tap through to the App Store we tag the link so Apple can tell us the visit came from this site — that labels the link, not you, and nothing is stored on your device.
Camera
The camera is used solely to read ingredient labels in real time. It is never used to take or save photos, and no camera data leaves your device.
Children
Titano is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here.
This website
The pages you are reading use Google Analytics 4 to count page views — which pages get read, and roughly where readers come from. There is no advertising here and no profiles are built.
- Until you accept, nothing is stored on your device. Analytics storage starts denied; the visit is counted as an anonymous ping with no cookie and no identifier.
- If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies so a returning visit is not counted as a new person. Google processes that data for us.
- Advertising signals stay off permanently, either way. We run no ads, so there is nothing to personalise.
- You can change your choice at any time.
